Is Arizona Corporate Headquarters a scam?

I received a letter in the mail from Arizona Corporate Headquarters. They wanted $125 for filing of annual minutes disclosure statement for my LLC. It seemed a bit fishy to me. It reminded me of all the mortgage insurance crap that you get when you get a new mortgage or refinance your home. You don't need that stuff either, it's just a scam. The address of Arizona Corporate Headquarters is 5025 N. Central Avenue, Suite 573 Phoenix, AZ 85012.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Well yeahhhh.....! it's a scam.!!! Hey! Brilliant idea! Set up a sting for when they come and get their mail! Wow! I'm a genuis! I got one too and thought "dang, another arbitrary charge" and looked on line and it is a post office box at the local UPS store on Central Av! Should be a no brainer to bust these jerks. Why don't we hear about the law going after them? Meanhile I get a photo ticket where they post one 25 mph in an otherwise 35 mph zone. I was doing 36. $204.00 ticket. Come on, we're all struggling to survive out here. I lost $700K in 2008 with a failed business. It's a darn shame. Used to be a pretty decent country. Enough complaining. Just someone go bust the vermin at the UPS store with the Corporate Commission scam. Montford in Scottsdale

Hi,
Thanx for your response to Dave about this Arizona Corporate Headquarters scam. I got one of those letters requesting $125 too and I just put a stop on the check that I'd sent them. It was sent in December/08 and they never cashed it.
